Welcome!!
I began my journey as a toy designer when I attended Mass Art College of Design. I considered myself to be an empathetic designer and a problem solver. Solutions by design was always something I had an interest for. My daughter Dayna, who is now 14, was born with fine motor delay, which caused her to struggle with turning, holding and lifting certain objects. Everything was tough due to her poor dexterity. I wanted to support her fine motor struggle.. so I did.
I created a fine motor book to help stimulate hand manipulation, practice daily life skills and exercise hand muscles by using tension tools for finger strengthening.
Developing this fine motor tool would help Dayna and other children that struggle with using their fine motor such as using scissors, opening bottles, holding certain objects and getting herself dressed.
I want to help every child that struggled with performing fine motor functions like Dayna. Designing fine motor toys to help children in their growth and development stages, with autism and who need support with low dexterity...Also to have fun and be engaged as they learn.
Adults as well !!
My goal is to motivate, improve self-independency and heighten self-confidence.
Hope to see you soon!!
